South Charlotte Recreation Association Fastpitch Softball Mission Statement

The mission of the South Charlotte Rec Association (SCRA) Fastpitch Softball Program is to provide a safe, positive,
and supportive environment where girls can learn softball fundamentals, enhance their skills,
and build lasting friendships through teamwork.

We strive to ensure that every girl has a rewarding team sports experience.
Our goal is to instill values such as a strong work ethic, sportsmanship, dedication, self-motivation, teamwork, and, most importantly, respect for themselves and others.

While we take pride in the competitive tradition of our program, we recognize that our players are young girls, not professionals. We prioritize making their experience both fun and competitive.

Our program offers a consistent development path, starting with rec teams for younger players.

All of our coaches and volunteers are committed to supporting the mission of SCRA Fastpitch Softball.
We are dedicated to being positive role models and assisting with both the softball and personal growth of each player. Ultimately, we hope that the SCRA softball experience will help our girls build confidence and self-esteem, preparing them to face future challenges with resilience.
