Information for the 2025 Season is currently being updated.  Registration will be opening in the Spring, but be sure to get on our interest list to get information on workouts, registration and other opportunities to prepare for the 2025 Season.

Pop Warner utilizes an age based schematic for the football divisions of play.

A child's age on July 31, 2025 is his/her age for the season.

It is recommended and encouraged that athletes play in their specific age division.  For example 9 year old athletes are best off playing in the 9u division.  "Playing Up" as is it is referred to (and 9 year old playing on the 10u team), requires approval from the Head Coach and our Association Football Director.

In some cases based on team formation numbers, a team may also be made up of 2 groups of ages.  For example if we have low numbers at 12 and 13 year old, then we would combined those age groups for a 13u team.

PLAYERS ARE ALLOWED TO PLAY BOTH MIDDLE SCHOOL AND POP WARNER.  Let your coach know of your intentions.

2025 Season Planned Teams:

Currently based on interest, historical growth and historical rosters we are planning the follow 2025 teams:

  • 7u - 1 team with a max of 24 roster spots
  • 8u - 2 teams with a max of 26 roster spots
  • 9u - 2 teams with a max of 24 roster spots
  • 10u - 3 teams with a max of 24 roster spots
  • 11u - 1 or 2 teams with a max 24 roster spots
For 12u and 13u  we would like to have 1 team at each level, or worst case a 13u team with 12 and 13 year old athletes.  But until I have a confirmed head coach for 12u and 13u, we most likely we will open up with a waitlist to ensure we have both the a solid number of athletes for the roster and a coaching staff.

There are no "developmental" teams this year.  Coaches are encouraged to focus on developing fundamentals with first year players, but we will not have teams classified as developmental this year.

Information and Costs

Registration Costs (Registration to open in March/April):

**If you register after July 28, you will not be able to choose your number or have your name on the back of the Jersey.

Payment Policy:

Online payment is expected at the time of registration.  Unpaid registrations will be automatically removed or waitlisted.  Your spot is not guaranteed unless the registration is paid in full.

Refund Policy:

Before August 1:
  • Refunds can be given with a $50 administrative fee and if your jersey has been ordered then $85 will also be deducted from your refund (feel free to pickup the jersey once they come in).
After August 1:
  • No refunds will be given except in the case that your child cannot be placed on a team (no guarantees of which team they will be placed on)
  • No refunds for players injured at any point
  • No refunds for players that leave for Middle School Football or any other football program
Camps additional information:
  • Refunds are only given in the case of full-event cancellation by SCRA (no partial refunds for specific days)
  • No other refunds will be given after the camp has started

  • Games Begin - August 23, 2025 (there will be games Labor Day Weekend August 30)
  • Regular Season ends with games on October 25 for all teams with potential for games on November 1 and November 9 for all teams.
  • Regional Playoffs for teams that qualify begin November 8 through November 22

Equipment Handouts:

  • Will be scheduled during the month of July.
  • Paperwork must be completed before equipment is handed out.
  • An equipment deposit check of $175 will be required.  Check is to be dated November 1, 2025 and written out to "SCRA".  Check is returned/destroyed when equipment is returned.
  • We provide Helmets, Shoulder Pads, Game Pants, Game Jersey, Practice Jersey.
  • We have limited practice pants, that are available first come first serve - we recommend getting your own.  White or any color is fine.
  • Players should have their own Mouthpiece, ChinStrap, Cleats, Socks.

Olde Providence Park (located behind the Elementary School)
-Main Football Field, Muppet Field and AUX Field.

Home Games:
Ardrey Kell High School

Away Games:
League away games are at locations around the Charlotte Metro area including Lake Norman, Cabarrus County, Harrisburg, Mint Hill, Fort Mill and Gastonia area.
